The founders
Elisabeth Southorn & Janet Fink teamed up to build the Westchester Youth Choirs in the fall of 2014. With Elisabeth's nearly 3 decades in choral music instruction, and Janet's passion for non-profit development, they were they enjoyed starting it up. Today Elisabeth conducts all of the choirs, with support from high school student interns and special guest conductors on occasion. She brings her creativity and dedication to every rehearsal and performance. Janet, no longer active still supports WYC from the side lines.
